Once you have an up to date prescription, our Optometrist will discuss what is suited to both your eyes and lifestyle and decide the best contact lens option for you.

A set of trial contact lenses will then be ordered for you and when ready a member of staff will show you how to confidently insert, remove and care for your contact lenses. 

Once we are happy that your vision is the very best it can be you will be ready to enjoy glasses free vision!

Disposable contact lenses come in daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly replacement form.

They are designed to be worn during the day and removed at night. 

Advantages of Disposable Contact Lenses:

  • Quick and easy to adapt to – you hardly feel them in your eyes from the first time they go in.

  • Suitable for occasional wear as they don’t take any time to re-adapt to.

  • Hygienic – they’re available in single use disposable form.

  • Available in a wide range of powers including for astigmatism.

  • OK for sleeping in if you have the special oxygen permeability enhanced material


Multifocal lenses are designed for those who require two prescriptions to correct their vision. One for distance and one for reading. ​These are normally required for those around the age of 45-50 years and above.

Advances in contact lens Design and Technology means that multifocal contact lenses can be considered a real alternative for glasses.

Colored lenses are a great way to change up your look, whether you are looking for a subtle shift in shade or a dramatic 'pop' of color. They are available in daily and monthly disposable forms and also only in single vision.


But don't worry! even if you don't have a prescription and would like a change, colored lenses are available without a prescription.

Depending on the type of change you are looking for, our Optometrist will be able to advise you which lenses will give you your desired look.

Lens colors range from Browns to Violets, from Hazels to Blues And the best thing? There is no limit to the colors you can buy!

DO: Insert contact lenses before applying makeup and remove your lenses before washing off makeup.

DO: Always handle your lenses with clean, dry hands. Wash, rinse, and dry your hands thoroughly with a lint-free towel before touching your lenses.

DO: If your eyes become red, irritated, or your vision changes, remove your lenses immediately and consult your eye care professional.

DON’T: Use saliva, tap water, or anything other than fresh contact lens solutions for lubricating, rewetting, and/or cleaning your lenses.

DON’T: Share your contact lenses with others.

DON’T:  Sleep while wearing your contact lenses unless you wear extended wear lenses, designed to be worn overnight, up to 7 days without removal.
